Dear Pirate Family, 

CMS Student Council would like to invite you to join us in support of a great cause!  This week we will collect donations for the residents of River Crossing Senior Living Facility.  We encourage students to bring donations and have fun dressing up according to the theme and item to donate.  All donations should be taken to the gym or cafeteria before the 1st period bell.  Below are the days: 

• Monday- Dress like a senior citizen

• donate non-perishable snacks (pudding cups, applesauce, oatmeal, soup, mashed potato cups)

• Tuesday- “Spa Day”- dress in your comfy clothes & bath robes

  • donate bath products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, lotion)

• Wednesday- Laundry Day- dress in your mismatched clothes and craziest socks

  • donate laundry detergent, dryer sheets, cleaning supplies

• Thursday- Game Day- dress in your favorite team gear

  • donate non-perishable snacks (popcorn, candy, chips, snack cakes, breakfast bars, etc.)

• Friday- “Don’t Sweat It”- Dress in sweats

• donate personal hygiene products (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper)

Monday, March 3rd

• CMS Student Council: Dress like a senior citizen.  Donate non-perishable snacks

• Swim @ Madison 6 PM

• Softball Tryouts 6-8 PM (see below for more information)

• Baseball Tryouts 6-8 PM (See below for more information)

• Track Practice Begins (Mon. – Thurs., after school 3:10 – 5 PM) 

Tuesday, March 4th

• CMS Student Council: Spa Day, Dress in your comfy clothes and bathrobes. Donate bath products. 

• Wrestling @ Corydon 6 PM 

Wednesday, March 5th 

• CMS Student Council: Laundry Day. Dress in your mismatched clothes and craziest socks.. Donate laundry detergent, dryer sheets, cleaning supplies

• Remind students to charge chromebooks for ILearn Checkpoints 

• New Head Football Coach, Aaron Daniel, will be at lunch to meet with 8th graders.

• 6:00 PTO Meeting

Thursday, March 6th

• CMS Student Council: Game Day. Dress in your favorite team gear. Donate non-perishable snacks. 

• ILEARN Checkpoint #3 Math 8:35 – 10:25 

• Swim vs Hazelwood & Scribner at CMS 6 PM

• Wrestling @ Madison 6 PM

• Softball Tryouts 6-8 PM (see below for more information)

• Baseball Tryouts 6-8 PM (See below for more information) 

Friday, March 7th

• CMS Student Council: Don’t Sweat it. Dress in sweats.. Donate personal hygiene products.
