To enhance fan safety and expedite entry into the ballpark, the Louisville Bats are implementing a new clear bag policy at Louisville Slugger Field for the 2026 season and beyond. This policy aligns our venue with professional standards nationwide by limiting the size and types of bags allowed inside the Ballpark.
The Louisville Bats strongly encourage fans to not bring any type of bags, but fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag inside the stadium:
    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ in width by 12″ in height by 6″ deep.
    • One-gallon clear, plastic re-sealable bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
    • Small clutch bags, which cannot exceed 7″ inches in height by 9″ inches in width, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium in addition to one of the clear plastic bags.
    • Exceptions to this policy will be made for diaper bags and all medically necessary items after proper inspection.
Please note that prohibited items include large purses, backpacks, briefcases, and non-clear fanny packs. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and efficient environment for everyone at the ballpark.
