🥎 Starting January 26th indoor conditioning every Monday right after school (3:30-4:30pm). Meet by locker rooms. 

🥎 Starting January 28th indoor workouts from 5:30-7pm every Wednesday at the high school indoor hitting facility. 

🥎 Please have physical on file and completed final forms. 

🥎 For Monday conditioning just wear athletic wear and tennis shoes.  

🥎 For indoor hitting facility you must bring your own softball gear (bat, helmet, glove) and wear either tennis shoes or turfs. NO CLEATS ALLOWED INDOORS.

📣 Snowcoming Dance Announcement 📣

Attention students! Our Snowcoming Dance will be held on Friday, January 23 from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Wristbands for the dance will be sold starting Friday of this week for $5.00.  You can grab your permission slip during lunch or from Mrs. Pedigo in room 122.   Permission slips and money can be turned in to Mrs. Pedigo in the cafeteria before school.  Wristbands will be distributed on the day of the dance during 6th period, so be sure to keep track of your purchase.

Concessions will be sold, and there will also be an opportunity to have your picture taken with friends for $3.00 each.

Don’t miss out on one of the most exciting events of the year—we hope to see you there! 🎉❄️

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The National Junior Honor Society is excited to host a Children’s Shelter Donation Week to support some of our most vulnerable students who are currently placed in our local youth shelter. The shelter is in great need this holiday season—many of the items we use daily are things these students may go without.

To help meet these needs, we will be holding a donation drive next week. We are asking students to bring in specific items on the following days:

Monday – Hygiene Products

Deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, ChapStick

Tuesday – Hair Products

Brushes, hair ties, shampoo, conditioner

Wednesday – Nonperishable Food Items

Canned foods, pasta, graham crackers

Thursday – Clothing

New socks or new/slightly used hoodies, sweatpants, shirts

Friday – Miscellaneous Items

Pillows, pillowcases, blankets

Any donation—big or small—will make a meaningful difference. Please consider helping us support these students during the holiday season.

November 14th PTO dance after school -Permission slips were distributed at lunch. Students will be allowed to turn in permission slips and money on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only to attend. We have to stock concessions and drinks for the dance and this is based off the number of students planning to attend. 

Please include $5 by Nov. 12th for your child to participate. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Please note, no child will be turned away for inability to pay. Please turn in permission slip regardless. If you would like to sponsor a middle-schooler anonymously, please include any additional donation. Dismissal will be like school pickup. We appreciate your patience. All proceeds benefit students, teachers, and staff.

If you are interested in joining the CMS Robotics Team, applications will be available at lunch. Please turn in your application to Mrs. Riley by next Friday, November 14th. 

Wrestling Conditioning will begin next week on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 PM at the High School Wrestling room.

Greetings! We would like to remind you that Tuesday, November 4th is Parent/Teacher Conference Day. School will not be in session for students to allow time for conferences. In addition, we are adding some training sessions for parents to help with assessment reports. The Indiana Assessment Family Portal is a secure online tool where you can view your child’s ILEARN, IREAD, or IAM results. It helps you understand your child’s strengths, areas for growth, and how they’re performing compared to grade-level expectations.Parents must have an access code and register for the system. Access codes will be distributed at Parent-Teacher Conference Day on November 4th. Please plan to attend for in-person instructions and guidance. If you cannot attend, codes will be mailed home after the conference.

We want to wish the CMS cheerleaders good luck this weekend as they take the mat at HCCA State Championship at Greenfield Central High. Good luck and we hope our cheerleaders bring home a state title!
